Collection 60 Winner
“The best wedding photographers in the world are FEARLESS!”– Fearless Photographers
It’s mid-July 2021, and I would usually be shooting back to back weddings; however, the world is a different place, and many marriages have been put on pause until the United Kingdom comes out of restrictions due to the COVID pandemic. It’s fair to say that I’ve not been documenting numerous weddings in the last 18 months. Nobody has. But that hasn’t stopped me from entering into my favourite awards, the Fearless Photographers Awards.
I had entered the two images on several occasions, but they had never won; however, I had faith in them, and I knew that one day they would both achieve the infamous ‘Fearless’ status.
I took my 10th Fearless Award on the 31st August 2019 at Northbrook Park in Surrey; a beautiful Grade-II listed 18th-century manor house that includes various wildlife (like these ducks). It’s not uncommon for the tame inhabitants to roam between wedding guests, and if you’re getting married outside, then this is what you can expect! I love this photobomb, and I remember the wedding very fondly. This image won in the ‘Moments’ collection, of which there was only a tiny 152 winners overall. That might sound like a large number, but remember, these awards are international, and each collection usually received over 12,000+ entries (I know, I’ve judged for the Fearless Awards)
Collection 60 Honorable Mention
Here’s my 2nd achievement, a wonderfully layered documentary photo taken at the ultra stunning Anyhoe Park (where I’m also blessed to be a recommended supplier). This image was taken back in the early summer of 2018 for Chloe and Joe.
