I’m very proud to announce my 5th Golden Medallion with the WPJA
To say it’s been a crazy wedding season is an understatement! It’s the start of October (2019) and I’m just coming to the end of my busiest year in wedding photography. I’ll save all the details from my annual roundup, but the concise version; I’ve driven thousands of miles (including a road trip across France), stayed in an impressive 16 Premier Inn’s (that number will rise by at least 1 by the time the year is out) and documented my heart out. It’s been fun, well mostly. Sometimes it’s been a little stressful too because my attention to detail has also increased and nothing but the very best leaves my studio.
I’ve also been a little slack with entering awards. But just managed to reach the deadline for the V13 WPJA 2019 Collection.
My thanks to the judges for these two awards! The first was taken at the incredible King’s College Chapel in Cambridge. It’s been a life long ambition to work at King’s and I’m grateful to tick it off my list. The actual moment was taken on the River Cam as my couple went for a punt after the ceremony. It was during the gorgeous summer and everything (from light to moment) was on point.
The second hilarious picture was taken at Holdenby House in Northamptonshire at one of my most favourite weddings of the year. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have got into a field with this beautiful ungulate (which is a posh word for “Cow”). Fortune favours the brave!
Thanks to the judges for selecting these 2 images. As always, I’m incredibly proud to be featured alongside the absolute best in the world.
